Missed Appointment Policy

Missed appointments impact other patients

Our patient’s health is of the utmost importance to us.

Missed appointments can not only potentially affect your health outcomes, but whenever you miss an appointment without providing adequate notice, another patient misses an opportunity to receive care.

In order for us to continue to provide top-quality care in a timely manner for our patients, a fee of $75 will be charged for all missed appointments.

The fee will need to be paid before your next appointment and it will not be covered by your insurance.

What counts as a missed appointment?

A missed appointment is any scheduled appointment in which you:

1. Don’t arrive at your scheduled appointment
2. Cancel your appointment after 12:00 pm the day before your appointment date
3. Arrive over 15 minutes late for your appointment and are unable to be seen at the practice

How to avoid missing appointments

We completely understand that you might run into situations that will make it impossible for you to attend your appointment. Please reach out to us before 12:00 pm on the business day before your appointment. We will be more than happy to reschedule your appointment for another day.

(If you want to cancel a Monday appointment, please call us by 12:00 pm on Friday.)

We understand that delays may happen but we want to keep all our appointments running on time for the benefit of all of our patients.

Patients who arrive later than 15 minutes after their scheduled appointment may not be able to keep their appointment and will incur a fee.
